Royal Rumble 40 participants.
So this year the Royal Rumble has 40 participants, really? I just do not understand the reasoning behind this, it would have made so much more sense if they would have done this when the Vince McMahon first purchased ECW and WCW. I would have understood if they would have added more participants, even adapting the 60 man over the top rope battle royal, that use to highlight their annual World War 3 pay-per-view, but 10 years later just makes no sense at all. So does that mean that the running up will automatically go for the title that the winner did not choose? Each year, the Royal Rumble draws excitement, and I cannot wait until this years Rumble.

Hey I like your point about doing this when the acquisition of WCW & ECW was still fresh! That would've made a lot more sense and you wouldn't be throwing jobbers in there with legitimate contenders, they woulda been legitimate stars their selves. Like I just said, what you're going to see in the ring is 10 extra Jobbers that don't even belong on RAW or SD (probably jerkin the curtain on SuperStars) and faster eliminations. We know that William Regal, Yoshi Tatsu, Zach Rider & 1st dude that got kicked outta Nexus ain't gonna win lol. Hey as the saying goes.. "Quality over Quantity!"
