With the Rumble 3 days away, I cannot wait to see who will prevail. I personally am pulling for John Morrison, but something tells me that Kane will win it this year. He has so much surrounded by him being in 12 consecutive rumbles, and having the most eliminations, why not win it, especially after losing the world heavy weight championship recently. However, I am going to say that I believe that Morrison will be the World champion by Summerslam.
There are also rumors that Triple H will be back. I really hope he does not win it, I do not think we need another Triple H title reign anytime soon.
Also Popa Shango is rumored to be returning to the Royal Rumble this year, I guess they needed some legends to get 40 people in the ring, I would not be surprised to see Awesome Kong in the Ring, only time will tell.
So recently Wade Barrett just put together a new faction that consists of former Nexus members Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater along with Eziekiel Jackson. This seems to be interesting, but it also makes you wonder if Barrett is unable to stand on his own. Going into the Rumble, Barrett is able to convince his followers to help him win and earn a title shot at WrestleMania. Personally I think he needs to stand on his own and see where that can take him. Its very interesting to see he and the Big Show going one on one. This could be a great feud.

Dolph Ziggler has found himself in one of the three main events at perhaps the second biggest pay-per-view of the year. Challenging Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship will be a tough task for Ziggler. Who would have ever thought that little Nicky for the Spirit Squad would be contesting for the grand prize. This should be an interesting match and I do not think he could have a better opponent. With their styles it should be very entertaining. I would love to see an upset, but I do not think Ziggler is ready for the strap yet, and I sure do not see him main eventing. WrestleMania. I do think he has the potential to be Smackdowns top heel. And putting him in this match will see if he can maintain that status
So when the match was booked, I wasnt really excited about this. The Miz is one of my favorite wrestlers, however, I do not want to see him and Orton taking on each other again. Maybe this will set up either a return of Triple H and he will take on the Miz, or Orton will win the title and setup a match with him and Sheamus at WrestleMania. The two should have a great match though. If they keep it clean and unpredictable, it will be a classic. Im not sure if they are ready to allow the Miz to lead them into WrestleMania as the champion. And as far as Orton is concerned, I have yet to be impressed by any of his matches at the biggest spectacle in sports entertainment. Last year, his match with Rhodes and Dibease was nothing to write home about, and the year before that, his match with Triple H had the perfect build up, only to be such a disappointment. In my opinion, I do not believe either one will be in the main event in Atlanta, but only time will tell
So this year the Royal Rumble has 40 participants, really? I just do not understand the reasoning behind this, it would have made so much more sense if they would have done this when the Vince McMahon first purchased ECW and WCW. I would have understood if they would have added more participants, even adapting the 60 man over the top rope battle royal, that use to highlight their annual World War 3 pay-per-view, but 10 years later just makes no sense at all. So does that mean that the running up will automatically go for the title that the winner did not choose? Each year, the Royal Rumble draws excitement, and I cannot wait until this years Rumble.
